Baby Boy! A Newborn Photoshoot in Philadelphia
I still remember when I first met this family. It was around Christmas and I did a Tree Farm Mini Session. Their first little one was just a few months new, and pretty much cried for most of the session. I always will keep with me, how go with the flow mom has always been. They just went right along with it, and we created a funny shot with it.
When mom's second baby was arriving, we were both super eager and excited... I had just began doing studio maternity and we wanted to celebrate mama. But just as life has it, COVID hit, and we had to cancel that maternity session. Lucky for us, we still got those sweet baby pictures done.
Along came the news of baby 3!!!! Oh, this was everything! Mom will have her moment to celebrate her pregnancy. When we booked her maternity we talked about having the kids or not having the kids. I love that she choose not to have family, not because family should not be included, but its baby 3. I loved her celebrating her! She had her time to do just her! I mean, when do moms get this time?
During her maternity session we talked and laughed. It was so much fun having the honour to celebrate and capture just her. Her gallery was beautiful.
Fast forward to her new baby session..... I was so excited for her newborn photoshoot in my Philadelphia studio. OMG! the kids together!!! It was like a dream! They were so thrilled to do pictures. I am so happy that I had the chance to capture these beautiful family pictures for mom.
Most of all, I LOVE that mom was planning what she was printing and where it would hang during the session. I mean, her gallery is gorgeous!
I am so honoured to grow along side of my families. To let you in on.a little secret, I am usually giggling inside when I hear the news. And my brain starts to plan on what I want to do.
